    Recital Patio. Under the arcade that touches the Palacio de los Arrayanes and at the foot of the pond, there have been performances held here since the second edition of the Festival of Granada in 1953 by recognized soloists or chamber groups, and it also has been an exceptional setting for the presentation of new generations.

     The Festival invited Javier Perianes to offer a recital in the Patio de los Arrayanes, where what is recognized in the best concert halls in Spain and outside of our frontiers was confirmed here: that we are in before one of the most brilliant pianists of his generation, gifted with a masterful technique, expressive force and delicateness in his shading. It was an evening to remember.

The Dream of a Summer Night (Live Recording, RTVE – Recital Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada)

    The CD released by the RTVE Música label recorded by pianist Javier Perianes in July 2005 in the Arrayanes Patio of the Alhambra as part of the International Festival of Music and Dance of Granada received the distinction of "Exceptional CD" in the October 2006 issue of Scherzo Magazine.


The Dream of a Summer Night (Live Recording, RTVE – Recital Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada)

    The public must have realized that it was not going to be a simple summer evening recital. It was more than that: a sophisticated intermezzo without visceral reactions or spectacle; full of the best music, played with delicacy and interpreted with wisdom and heart.
