On 4 June Javier Perianes visits the Salzburg Whitsun Festival to give a matinee recital at the Haus für Mozart. The festival, curated by Artistic Director Cecilia Bartoli, has a focus this year on Seville.
Perianes performs an all-Spanish programme with selections from Isaac Albéniz’s Iberia, Falla’s El Amor Brujo and Fantasia Baetica, and a selection from Granados’ Goyescas.
