Javier Perianes returns to Australia as part of a multi-year project with Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Together with Jaime Martín, they perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 on 27 and 28 July at the Sydney Opera House. The concert programme also includes Christopher Sainsbury’s String Talk and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.
This is the third year of the orchestra’s ongoing cycle in which Perianes will perform all five Beethoven’s piano concertos, presenting one concerto per year.
