Javier Perianes and Tabea Zimmermann regret to announce their tour to North America this month is cancelled.
On advice from governments and medical professionals, many artists and concert presenters across the world have taken precautions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Closure of concert halls to prevent large gatherings, combined with the announcement to restrict entry to travellers from Europe into the USA, has made it impossible for the tour to go ahead.
Javier and Tabea very much hope to return to North America soon.
Javier Perianes and recital partner violist Tabea Zimmermann tour the US and Canada from 15 – 29 March. Their programme includes works by Schubert and Brahms with selections from Piazzolla, Albéniz, Falla and Villa-Lobos. The recitals form a preview of their new recording ‘Cantilena’, due for international release on harmonia mundi on 17 April.
